Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your ideal trip

What is the best time to visit Cusco?
The best season is during the dry season, from May to October. You'll enjoy sunny days and clear skies, perfect for photography and trekking, although nights can be quite cold.
How can I avoid altitude sickness (Soroche)?
We recommend resting on your first day, eating light meals, drinking plenty of water and coca leaf tea. Avoid alcohol and strenuous physical activity during the first 24 hours.
How far in advance should I book Machu Picchu?
If you want to hike Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, book at least 2–3 months in advance. For general entry, 3–4 weeks is usually sufficient, though tickets sell faster during peak season.
Do you offer private tours or only group tours?
We offer both options. Our shared tours operate in small groups to ensure quality, but if you prefer total privacy, you can request a 100% customized VIP tour.
Can I travel comfortably with children or elderly people?
Absolutely! We have flexible itineraries adapted for the whole family. We organize transport and stops considering the space, time, and accessibility needs of every passenger in the group.
What type of clothing should I bring on excursions?
Andean weather is highly variable; dress in "layers". Always bring a windbreaker, light thermal clothing for early mornings, cotton T-shirts, sunscreen, sunglasses, and most importantly, comfortable trekking shoes.
Are train tickets and entrance fees included in the tours?
Yes, 90% of our tour packages include all required regional tourist tickets, train tickets (according to your chosen category), buses to the citadel, and authorized expert guiding. Any exceptions are clearly detailed in the service description.
Do you cater to special diets on multi-day tours?
Of course. As long as you let us know at the time of booking, we can arrange fully vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options at all route restaurants and campsites we work with.
